hi paul, i am a gun designer from india. that does not mean i am pro guns. i agree with you that guns are not toys and to be kept in safes rather than closets. but the important think is that kids be grown up compassionately and in the most loveable manner that soft feelings are always palpable to their young minds. i dont buy the claim that maintaining an airgun better the skills of a kid in safety lessons. kids dont need a gun be it airsoft or ordinary. they must feel comfortable without guns even if they choose their vedio games.

Most excellent post.

My husband wants a gun. While I am not opposed, I think it would be best to wait until our youngest is old enough to take gun-safety classes and we could all learn to shoot it properly.

I'm also vehemently opposed to guns as toys. Guns are *NOT* toys.
