Week Four Goals: Monday

Pushups: 5 Sets of 25 Reps ea
Situps: 5 Sets of 25 Reps ea
Overhand Pullups: 4 Sets of 4 Reps ea
Run: 3 Miles in 25:30 minutes
Swim: 20 minutes (Swim #1 of 4)

Week Four Actual Workout: Monday

Pushups: 5 Sets of 25 Reps ea
Situps: 5 Sets of 25 Reps ea
Overhand Pullups: 3 Sets of 3 Reps ea
Run: 3 miles in 29:31
Swim: 20 minutes (Swim #1 of 4)

Comments: Hurt my arm on the last set of pullups.  Was able to do 3 sets of 3, though.  I'm going to take it easy with the pullups until my joints get better with the strain.  I want to see if doing a set of pushups before I work on pullups will help warm the joints and keep me from hurting myself.

Today was the first time in my life that I ran 3 miles!  I'm pretty excited.  I don't like my time, but my goal today was to finish the run without walking.  I'm so excited that I made it!

I've noticed that my recovery time after I run has decreased quite a bit.  By the time I walk 50 yards to my house, my breathing is almost normal.  Heartbeat takes a little longer.
